JETT WILLIAMS YOUTH COOK-OFF CONTEST
THIS ACTIVITY TOOK PLACE AT THE JETT WILLIAMS FESTIVAL AT KEY PARK IN LAFAYETTE, TN. YOUTH IN GRADES 4-12 COULD PARTICIPATE IN THE BEEF, LAMB, OR PORK CATEGORIES. THERE WERE SOME GREAT ENTRIES.
Pictured above are the winners of the recent Cook off contest that took place during the Jett Williams Festival. There were some outstanding entries. (L to R) Trey McPherson placed 1st in the Pork division, lamb division, and 3rd in beef for 4th grade level entries. Makita McClard placed 3rd in Pork and 2nd in Beef for 5th&6th grades, Morgan Burgener placed 1st in Beef, 2nd in Pork, and 1st in Lamb for grades 5&6. Caleb Centers placed 2nd with his entry in the 4th grade Pork division. Victoria England placed 2nd in the 4th grade Beef division. Nick Wilson placed 1stwith his entry in the 5th & 6th grade Pork Division. Cassidy Baugh (not available for picture) placed 1st in the 4th grade Beef division. As well Cassidy won the overall prize for the best entry with her Beef filet and received the Best Overall Cookoff Trophy donated by Championship Trophy.
