Here’s your chance to go “HOG WILD” with Macon County 4-H and showcase your talent! Create your own piggy bank from milk cartons, juice bottles, wood, coffee cans, cardboard, glass jars, or any other item of your choice. The 4-H Piggy Bank competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members create, build and design a piggy bank with a theme focused on saving money.
Guidelines
- Banks DO NOT have to be in the shape of a pig.
- The bank should not exceed 12” x 12” x 12” (1 foot square)
- Banks must have a way to BOTH put money in and get it out without destroying the bank.
- Only 1 entry per member.
- Banks must be created & decorated by the contestant (4-H member) with little to no adult assistance.
- You may decorate with paint, sequins, paper, stickers, fabric, felt, lace, etc.
- Label your bank on the bottom with your name, grade & school.
- HAVE FUN!
6th-12th grade entries MUST be brought to the 4-H Office Time and Date: TBA
Ribbons will be given to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each category.1st place winners in each category will be awarded by the sponsor of contest.
